Respite Living Option Now Available at The Liberty
The Liberty is now offering an option for people who would like to sample the assisted living experience for a short period of time.
The program, also called “respite,” allows individuals to reside in an apartment at The Liberty for up to 30 days.
“Our respite program is especially helpful for families who provide regular care for a parent but need to take a short break due to illness, travel or other commitments,” says Susan Phillips, RN, manager of The Liberty. “A family’s loved one receives the same array of personalized services provided to our permanent residents.”
Respite stay residents are provided a fully furnished apartment, three resort quality chef-prepared meals each day, activities and programs, housekeeping services, personal care assistance and transportation up to 40 miles. Optional services include guest meals, laundry, aroma therapy and massage.
Opened in 1999, The Liberty was developed after years of research and caters to the environmental, social, psychological, spiritual and health care needs of residents.
The Corinne Dolan Center for Memory and Aging also offers respite stays for persons needing an exclusive environment that caters to the needs of those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
