However, her passion for performing arts led her to pursue vocal performance at the Manhattan School of Music, where she earned a Master's degree. Although her first career was as a biologist, Heather has fully embraced her life in performing arts. Of course, she will gladly revisit her scientific background in character.

Heather's career spans classical music, Broadway, and film. Her recent performances include Mahler's 4th Symphony with The Yakima Symphony Orchestra and Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915 with the York Symphony Orchestra. She portrayed June Johnson in the world premiere of This Little Light at Santa Fe Opera and Angelica in Handel's Orlando: Hero of Love with Opera Praktikos in New York City. Her tenure on Broadway included roles such as Carlotta u.s. and the Inn-Keeper’s Wife in The Phantom of the Opera. Heather made her Broadway debut in the Tony award-winning revival of The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess as Lily/Serena u.s.

Heather has performed with numerous opera companies, including Little Opera Theater NY, Dallas Opera, Opera Colorado, Caramoor Festival, and New York City Opera. She has sung on stages throughout Europe and Australia, and graced iconic concert halls as a soloist, including performances of Gloria by Robert Harris at Lincoln Center and Carmina Burana and Lord Nelson Mass at Carnegie Hall. Additionally, she has showcased her unique blend of classical, contemporary, and popular music as a Headliner guest entertainer with Princess Cruise Lines. Heather holds a Master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music, a B.S. in Biology from Clark Atlanta University, and has studied acting at the T. Schreiber Studio in New York. Why not sing?
The music is in my soul!
Why not love?
For love has made me bold
Why not share?
Where heart's in want do seek.
I shall bless the truth of ages!
Why not sing?
